Behaviour Support/ Sports Coach Garstang

justteachers is seeking a Sports Coach to join a vibrant primary and secondary specialist provision in the Garstang area to cover on a long-term basis. The full-time post is due to start in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Planning and delivering engaging sports sessions tailored to pupils with varying needs
• Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH to access physical education in a safe and inclusive way
• Promoting positive behaviour, teamwork, and confidence through sport and physical activity

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 2 in Coaching, PE-related degree, or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or SEND setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive sports practices
• Two education or school-based references
