About the Role
Head of Systems / Leeds / £75,000 - £85,000
We're working with a growing organisation currently undergoing a three-company merger, who are looking to appoint a Head of Systems to lead the strategy and delivery of their business systems landscape.
This is a senior, transformation-focused role where you'll be responsible for shaping how technology supports the newly combined organisation. Working closely with senior leadership, including the IT Director and the CFO, you'll act as a key driver across a multi-year programme to consolidate and modernise the company's systems architecture.
The role is focused on business systems (ERP, CRM, BI and data) rather than desktop IT support, and will play a critical role in delivering a number of high-profile programmes across the organisation.

What do we need from you?
Experience leading or supporting ERP or major enterprise systems selection and implementation
Proven background delivering multi-system transformation programmes
Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology vendors
Strong stakeholder engagement across senior leadership teams
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms, reporting or analytics environments
Ability to operate at both strategic and delivery level
The Role
As Head of Systems, you will lead the development and execution of the organisation's systems strategy across three merging companies, helping establish a unified technology environment.
You'll focus on the delivery of a multi-year transformation programme, working across multiple projects that will shape the long-term technology landscape.
Key Focus Areas
You will play a central role across four major transformation initiatives:
ERP Unification
Evaluate and select a single SaaS ERP platform
Replace multiple legacy systems across the merged business
Consolidated Analytics & Data
Help establish a centralised data and analytics capability
Improve reporting and business insight across the organisation
Infrastructure Stabilisation
Support the review and stabilisation of the existing systems environment
IT Strategy & Target Operating Model
Help define the future technology operating model
Support vendor strategy and long-term systems architecture
Day-to-day responsibilities will include systems planning, supplier management, RFP processes, programme coordination and stakeholder engagement across senior leadership.
Working Environment
Location: Leeds
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office following successful onboarding
