Job Title: Specialist SEN Tutor Location: Leicestershire Contract: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time / Term-Time) Rate: £25–£30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to deliver personalised educational provision to children and young people with identified special educational needs across Leicestershire.
Provision will be delivered on a 1:1 basis in accordance with EHCP outcomes, supporting learners who may be out of mainstream education or requiring additional targeted support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured learning programmes in line with EHCP outcomes
Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and associated needs
Monitor and report progress to parents, schools, and relevant professionals
Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and compliance requirements
Essential Criteria
Recognised teaching qualification (QTS/HLTA) or substantial SEN tutoring experience
Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
Experience working with vulnerable learners
Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
Ability to travel within Northamptonshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
