About the Role
<p><strong>Base Duties:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To ensure that the Council public conveniences are empty by checking all cubicles before locking and opening and locking car parks.</li>
<li>The post holder will be required to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.</li>
<li>Always Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and to ensure a safe working area.</li>
<li>To lock and unlock the facility and to ensure that all keys are kept safely and that all security checks are completed as instructed.</li>
<li>To maintain and keep cleaning equipment in good condition.</li>
<li>To assist the public to safely use the facilities.</li>
<li>To report any faults and defects to the cleaning supervisor</li>
<li>To undertake any other duties as directed by the cleaning supervisor</li>
<li>To work on own initiative and allocate time between several sites.</li>
<li>Be able to drive Council owned vehicles.</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidate will be shown the full route by the cleaning supervisor.</p>
<p><strong>Shift Pattern:</strong></p>
<p>4:30am till 7:30am – 8pm till 11pm</p>
<p>3 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 2 days off</p>
