Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with monitoring, control systems, or real-time data platforms
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Architect, or similar role
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, Rockwell, Ignition, and EPMS systems preferred
• Architecture or cloud certifications are a plus
• Willingness to travel 30–50%
• Typical hours Monday–Friday, with flexibility as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for mission control systems, including data collection, processing, visualization, and control platforms
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and scalable solutions
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance
• Integrate infrastructure, applications, and monitoring tools into unified systems
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors to ensure interoperability
• Lead design reviews and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Provide guidance throughout implementation, testing, and deployment
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities
• Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements
• Contribute to long-term technology planning

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems
• Experience integrating BMS and EPMS systems, with knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems
• High-availability and resilience design expertise
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
