£65,000 | Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm
Long-Term NHS Contract
We are recruiting an experienced M&E Manager (Electrical Bias) to lead electrical engineering delivery across the East London NHS Trust contract, with the John Howard Centre as your main base.
This is a senior leadership role within a live healthcare environment, overseeing a team of 13 Electrical Engineers and 1 Supervisor across a portfolio of approximately 50 NHS sites.
The Role
Lead and manage a team of 13 engineers and 1 supervisor
Provide technical oversight across electrical building services systems
Ensure statutory compliance, safe systems of work and audit readiness
Oversee PPM delivery, reactive maintenance performance and reporting
Support the Technical Services Manager in contract delivery
Travel to sites as required (pool vehicle available)
This is an operational management role focused on performance, compliance and leadership across a complex healthcare estate.
What We’re Looking For
Fully qualified Electrician – NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Strong background in electrical building services maintenance
Experience managing engineering teams
Comfortable working within healthcare or critical environments
Confident with compliance reporting and contract governance
The Opportunity

Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (1-hour lunch)
25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
