KennedyPearce are hiring a 6 month FTC Management Accountant on a hybrid working basis to support the Financial Controller. This role will suit a PQ/ Finalist candidate.
- Supporting the posting of monthly journals (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and adjustments)
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable activities, including allocating customer payments, chasing unmatched receipts and maintaining AR ageing (*posting of invoices not needed - handled at group)
- Managing with Accounts Payable activities, including checking invoice coding and approvals, reconciling supplier statements and responding to routine vendor queries
- Managing bank reconciliations and follow‑up of reconciling items
- Managing reconciliation of control accounts (AP, AR, bank)
- Supporting the month‑end close process
- Assisting with preparation of basic management reports and supporting schedules
- Helping monitor cash receipts and payments
- Liaising with internal teams on routine finance queries
- Maintaining audit and supporting documentation
- Supporting process improvements and ad‑hoc finance tasks
Salary: £40,000
Experience required in a similar role, ideally in an SME with hands one exposure and strong Excel skills
