About the Role

Senior Supplier ManagerShape the future of Supplier Management at Cynergy Bank.Join us as a Senior Supplier Manager and play a critical role in strengthening how we govern, manage, and partner with third parties across the Bank. You will operate as the Procurement’s lead for supplier governance and third‑party risk, ensuring our suppliers are managed to the highest commercial, performance, and regulatory standards in support of our award‑winning human digital banking model.<div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div>What’s the opportunity?This is a permanent, senior individual‑contributor role within our Procurement function, reporting to the Director of Procurement. You will have end‑to‑end accountability for supplier management and third‑party risk governance, with particular focus on material and high‑risk suppliers in line with PRA and FCA expectations, including PRA SS2/21.Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide expert oversight, challenge, and insight across the supplier lifecycle, working closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and the wider business.<div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div>Where you will workYou will enjoy hybrid working, with three days per week in our London office (ONC) and two days working from home.<div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div>Why join us?We know the best people want more than just a job. At Cynergy Bank, you will find:Impact Own and shape the Bank’s supplier governance and third‑party risk framework, directly supporting regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and strong risk management.Growth A collaborative and high‑trust environment that values subject‑matter expertise, sound judgement, and continuous improvement.Flexibility A hybrid working culture that supports balance, wellbeing, and productivity.Rewards A competitive salary and benefits package, including bonus opportunity and comprehensive wellbeing support.<div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div>How you will make an impact<ul><li class="MsoNormal">Champion and operate the Bank’s supplier and third‑party governance framework, ensuring consistent application across all suppliers</li><li class="MsoNormal">Provide authoritative oversight and challenge to Supplier Owners on supplier performance, contractual compliance, and third‑party risk</li><li class="MsoNormal">Lead procurement’s support into onboarding new suppliers, including due diligence, inherent and residual risk assessments, and regulatory notifications</li><li class="MsoNormal">Maintain oversight of ongoing supplier monitoring, annual due diligence reviews, exit planning, and performance management</li><li class="MsoNormal">Identify, assess, and escalate material supplier risks, disputes, or governance gaps, recommending proportionate remediation actions</li><li class="MsoNormal">Establish and maintain supplier performance frameworks, KPIs, and KRIs aligned to business outcomes</li><li class="MsoNormal">Lead senior‑level supplier governance forums and performance reviews</li><li class="MsoNormal">Produce high‑quality MI, including supplier scorecards, risk dashboards, committee papers, and EXCO packs</li><li class="MsoNormal">Support regulatory engagement, internal audit activity, and second‑line assurance reviews with clear insight and narrative</li><li class="MsoNormal">Drive continuous improvement in supplier management strategy, data quality, tooling, and reporting capability</li><li class="MsoNormal">Act as a trusted procurement and supplier governance subject‑matter expert across the Bank</li></ul><div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div>What you will bring<ul><li class="MsoNormal">Significant experience managing suppliers and third‑party risk within a regulated financial services environment</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong working knowledge of PRA and FCA requirements, including PRA SS2/21, outsourcing, operational resilience, and TPRM</li><li class="MsoNormal">Proven experience managing complex supplier portfolios across contract, performance, relationship, and risk management</li><li class="MsoNormal">Ability to operate autonomously and provide effective challenge at senior stakeholder level</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong analytical capability with experience producing clear, insightful senior‑level MI and governance reporting</li><li class="MsoNormal">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li class="MsoNormal">Experience with contract management and TPRM systems (e.g. Gatekeeper, Resolver) is desirable</li></ul><div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div>How we will support youAt Cynergy Bank, we are committed to your wellbeing and success.
