AI Implementation Manager / AI Integration Specialist Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) or Director of Technology Department: Operations / Business Transformation Position Purpose We are seeking a forward-thinking, outcomes-driven AI Implementation Manager / AI Integration Specialist to lead our company’s internal AI transformation. In this role, you will not be building AI algorithms from scratch; instead, you will be the ultimate bridge between cutting-edge technology and business operations. Your mission is to analyze our current workflows, identify inefficiencies, vet and select market-ready AI tools, and successfully integrate them into our daily operations to drive massive efficiency gains and measurable cost savings. Key Responsibilities Workflow Audit & Identification: Continuously analyze departmental workflows (e.g., HR, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Legal) to identify repetitive, high-friction, or manual tasks ripe for AI automation. Vendor Vetting & ROI Analysis: Research, test, and evaluate commercial AI tools, platforms, and software vendors. Build clear business cases and calculate potential return on investment (ROI) and cost-reduction metrics before purchasing. System Integration & Hands-on Deployment: Partner with internal IT/Tech teams or external vendors to safely integrate selected AI tools into our existing software stack (CRM, ERP, internal databases). Change Management & Internal Training: Create simple, clear documentation, playbooks, and training programs to ensure high employee adoption rates. Act as the internal champion to help teams overcome resistance to new tech. Performance Monitoring: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the performance, accuracy, and actual financial impact of implemented AI tools, adjusting strategies based on real-world data. Risk & Compliance Guardrails: Ensure all implemented tools comply with data privacy regulations, company security standards, and ethical AI guidelines. Required Experience & Qualifications Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in technical project management, operations management, business analysis, or digital transformation roles. AI Literacy: Strong, practical knowledge of the current AI vendor landscape (e.g., LLMs, automated workflow tools, data extraction, RPA, and AI-driven SaaS platforms). You know what tools exist and what they can actually do for a business. Integration Familiarity: Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data flows to effectively collaborate with developers and software vendors. Change Management: Proven track record of rolling out new software or processes across non-technical teams with high adoption rates. Analytical Mindset: Strong financial acumen with the ability to build cost-benefit analyses and present data-backed recommendations to executive leadership. Core Competencies The "Industry Intelligence" Filter: Ability to look past tech-industry hype and evaluate tools purely based on practical, job-ready utility and commercial revenue impact. Translation Skills: Exceptional communication skills—able to talk logic and APIs with developers, and ROI and operational metrics with executives. Problem Solving: A natural curiosity and obsession with optimization, automation, and cutting through operational noise. Sample KPIs For This Role Operational Efficiency: Percent reduction in hours spent on specific manual tasks post-AI adoption. Cost Savings: Total dollar amount saved by replacing or optimizing inefficient processes/legacy software. User Adoption Rate: Percentage of target internal employees actively using the implemented AI tools weekly. Compensation 150K plus, based on expertise.
