<p><strong>Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon | Perthshire, Scotland | Full-Time | Up to £63,000 </strong></p>
<p>GVC is assisting a well-established small animal clinic in Perthshire to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and progressive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to take the next step in their career, with potential progression into a senior or clinical director position for the right candidate.</p>
<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<p>This role offers genuine clinical freedom and a varied caseload, supported by a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. You’ll have access to excellent facilities including digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, an imaging suite, two theatres, and full in-house lab equipment.</p>
<p>The rota provides a good work-life balance, with an average of 29 hours per week on day shifts after TOIL. The OOH rota is 1:5, supported by 24/7 on-site nursing cover for emergencies and in-patient care. The diary is carefully managed with 15-minute appointments, extra time for complex cases, and built-in catch-up slots each day.</p>
