Peterborough City Council Looking for Social worker for their Child in Care Team Payrate: -£39.00 p/h Location:- Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Peterborough, PE2 8TY Roles and Responsibilities Holding a caseload of Looked after Children Undertaking Core Assessments Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries Undertaking Viability Assessments Undertaking Kinship Assessments Undertaking Risk Assessments Producing Annex B reports Undertaking Regulation 38 Assessments Undertaking Special Guardian Assessments Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children'/ young people's needs Preparing & implementing Care Plans Attending court and giving evidence when required Obtaining Interim Care Orders/Interim Supervision Orders Initiating Care Proceedings Completion of Care Proceedings Obtaining Special Guardianship Orders Essential Requirements: Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services Social Work England Registration Driving license and access to own vehicle If you are interested in this position, please send your CV to Yug Vaishnav at or call on 020 4574 3378.
