About the Role

Conference Producer
Contract: 4 months
Location: London
IR35: Inside

Are you a commercially minded Conference Producer who thrives on creating content‑rich, high‑impact events? We're looking for an experienced producer to take full ownership of three established products-refining one in progress, reimagining another, and creating a brand‑new event from scratch.

This role gives you full end‑to‑end ownership, from strategy and research to delivery, in a fast‑moving, ideas‑driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing

You will act as product owner and project lead across three events, responsible for research, agenda development, speaker acquisition, and on‑site delivery:

  • Conduct in‑depth market research to shape themes, identify white‑space opportunities, and validate commercial potential.
  • Refresh and elevate existing event products.
  • Build a new event from the ground up and deliver a full programme by contract end.
  • Create compelling, content‑rich agendas informed by multi‑source research.
  • Write strong promotional copy for agendas, websites, and campaigns.
  • Secure senior‑level speakers through 100% outbound outreach.
  • Negotiate speaker fees and manage approvals within budget.
  • Lead the event on the day, opening sessions and managing flow.
  • Gather on‑site and post‑event insights to identify future growth opportunities.

You'll work closely with:
Sales (proposition & revenue strategy), Marketing (campaigns & messaging), Audience Development (delegate targeting), and Operations (logistics, websites, and budgets).

What's in the Portfolio?

You will manage three US‑based events:

  • May: underway-needs refinement
  • August: partially developed-needs strategic rethinking
  • December: built entirely from scratch

No international travel required.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years' conference production experience (ideally mid-large scale B2B).
  • Proven ability to launch new events or reshape underdeveloped ones.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to build commercially viable agendas.
  • Excellent communication, research, and copywriting skills.
  • Confident engaging with senior industry stakeholders.

Industry Background

  • Ideally real estate.
  • Or broader B2B, finance, or investment sectors.

Tools & Approach

  • Comfortable using AI to support research, agendas, outreach, and campaigns.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple deadlines across three products.
