Civil Construction Purchasing Agent

Overview:
Join a well-established, family-owned civil construction company with over 50 years of success. We’re seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to support underground utility and site development projects through material takeoffs, procurement, vendor management, and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review plans and perform material takeoffs for underground utility projects
• Purchase materials and negotiate pricing with vendors
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain inventory levels
• Support estimators and project managers throughout project execution

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of civil construction experience
• Strong knowledge of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems
• Experience with blueprint takeoffs and material procurement
• HCSS experience preferred
