For an international customer we are looking for an Offshore Engineer (f/m/d).
Your tasks will be:
Preparation for construction activities (e.g. submarine cable installation, soil investigations, marine consulting, rock removal, dredging, cable burial, OSS pull-in & routing, etc.).
Identification and monitoring of internal and external project interfaces regarding submarine cable installation
Distribution, Review and commenting of operational procedures, technical queries, Variation Orders, NCRs
Leading technical meetings with the cable contractor and taking notes
Invite the MWS to participate in relevant activities
Get approvals from OOB/Operations for work activities (e.g. approvals for offshore campaign)
Implement conditions from the Permit in the project and close them towards the internal permit department
Get technical issues confirmed/released by internal Cable Technology department
Inform OSS package about any relevant cable interface topic
Execution of the project on time
Review of project documentation and consulting in order to achieve high-quality execution in line with the contract
Coordination of all contractors, including the review of technical interfaces that fall within the Employer s area of responsibility
Following know-how is required:
Internationally experienced engineer/technician or equivalent, with experience in offshore installations
Experience with the planning and execution of landfall concepts for submarine cables, as well as installation work in shallow water areas
At least 5+ years of professional experience in the offshore sector (linear structures)
Proficient in standard PC software, particularly MS Office
Driving license for passenger cars
Offshore certification according to GWO/SCC (Safety Certificate Contractor) is a plus
Fluent German and English (min. C1 or comparable)
