After School STEAM Instructor<br><br> </div><div>As a Kitsap Co. After School STEAM Instructor, your primary role will be to lead Snapology programs 2–4 days per week after school. You’ll guide students through fun, educational activities that build confidence and real-world STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills.<br><br> </div><div>🕒 <strong>Schedule:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Must be available weekdays 3 - 6 pm Starts 9/30/25. -  Shifts available:  Monday/Friday  and/or  Tuesday/ Thursday. <br><br> </li> <li>Programs offered for grades K–6<br><br> </li> <li>Locations in the South Kitsap School District area<br><br> </li> <li>Additional hours available on weekdays, weekends and school breaks (optional)<br><br> </li> </ul><div>🎯 Responsibilities</div><div><br></div><ul> <li>Keep kids engaged and excited about learning<br><br> </li> <li>Set clear expectations and create a positive classroom culture<br><br> </li> <li>Prepare for classes by reviewing curriculum and training materials<br><br> </li> <li>Represent Snapology with professionalism when interacting with parents and partners<br><br> </li> <li>Encourage future program enrollment with enthusiastic communication<br><br> </li> <li>Attend occasional training and team meetings<br><br> </li> </ul><div>✅ What We’re Looking For<br><br> </div><ul> <li>Must pass a background check and obtain necessary child clearances<br><br> </li> <li>2+ years of experience working with children (teaching, camps, etc.)<br><br> </li> <li>Reliable transportation is a must<br><br> </li> <li>Positive attitude and consistent availability<br><br> </li> <li>Education or teaching experience is a plus—but not required!<br><br> </li> </ul><div>🚀 Programs You Might Teach<br><br> </div><ul> <li>Weekday after-school & evening classes<br><br> </li> <li>Weekend workshops & birthday parties<br><br> </li> <li>Summer camps<br><br> </li> <li>School holiday and break events<br><br> </li> </ul><div>📅 Hours & Pay<br><br> </div><div>This is a <strong>part-time</strong> position.
