About the Role

<p>We are actively seeking an experienced Hospice RN Team Manager for a full-time, permanent role with a highly regarded healthcare organization serving patients and families across Brooklyn and Manhattan. This position offers a competitive salary, strong benefits, and the opportunity to make a significant impact by mentoring staff and supporting end-of-life care delivery.<br /> This is a leadership position that balances hands-on clinical support with mentoring and operational oversight of nursing services in hospice and palliative care settings.</p> <p>Title: Hospice RN Team Manager<br /> Location: Brooklyn / Manhattan, NY<br /> Salary: $140,000 to $155,000</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> • Support the Associate Director of Patient Services by overseeing and guiding hospice nursing operations on a daily basis<br /> • Provide mentorship and leadership to RN Case Managers with a focus on pain and symptom management and patient/family-centered goals of care<br /> • Collaborate with the Associate Director to schedule staffing assignments in alignment with NHPCO and internal staffing standards<br /> • Ensure quality of care by reviewing and monitoring nursing documentation for compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies<br /> • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to promote cohesive patient care<br /> • Participate in outreach efforts and deliver community presentations in partnership with admissions and outreach departments</p> <p>Requirements:<br /> • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN or BS preferred)<br /> • Minimum 5 years of hospice nursing experience<br /> • Active RN license in New York State<br /> • Strong ability to mentor, supervise, and support hospice nursing staff<br /> • Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Windows systems<br /> • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills<br /> • Familiarity with hospice care standards and documentation best practices<br /> • CHPN certification preferred or willingness to obtain within one year</p> <p>For further consideration, send resume or email to Alexg@smitharnold.com VP of recruitment or call 914-774-8202</p>
