Live-out Housekeeper in Belgravia

Our private clients are seeking a live-out Housekeeper to cover Maternity leave for 1+ year for their residence in Belgravia. The property is a 5-storey, 5-bedroom home and is not a full-time residence; the family (husband, wife, and baby) typically visit once every couple of months for short stays. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the home to a high standard during both occupied and unoccupied periods, liaising regularly with an external Property Management company. Schedule: 1+ year Maternity Cover, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Duties will include - Daily cleaning/housekeeping to very high standards Reporting maintenance issues and emergencies Laundry and liaising with the dry cleaner on collections and deliveries Looking after the family's dog when needed (walking, feeding etc) Ensuring the interior of the house is always clean and well-maintained Coordinating with household staff and external property managers to ensure standards are maintained Ensuring cleaning product stock is available Creating systems if and when needed and/or maintaining them Running errands and welcoming/overseeing contractors Assisting the chef with service and cleaning for occasional dinner parties - training can be given here The ideal candidate will be an energetic, upbeat and proactive Housekeeper with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail. They must be self-motivated and disciplined, able to manage their own time effectively when working independently in a quiet household. Previous experience working for UHNW clients in luxury properties is essential, and candidates with Head Housekeeper or light House Management experience would be highly beneficial. A positive attitude and willingness to become part of a warm family environment is key.
