Alternative Provision Teacher Wisbech

About the role:

An Alterative Provision in Wisbech are seeking an experienced Teacher to join their team starting in September 2026 on a full-time long term supply basis. This long-term supply opportunity will involve teaching students with SEMH and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with additional needs
• Support students with SEMH and Autism to access learning and achieve progress
• Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, support staff and external agencies
• Monitor student progress and implement behaviour support strategies effectively

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working with students with SEMH and Autism in a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management and differentiated learning strategies
• Two education or school-based references
• A resilient, nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching
