Your Tasks
Develop skills to be able to understand Preventative/Predictive Maintenance procedures and best practices at New Boston plant location or Jefferson plant location.
Develop skills to be able to fabricate parts from raw material
Develop skills to be able to draw/design simple pneumatic systems, and follow pneumatic schematics of complex machines/assembly lines.
Develop skills to be able to draw/design simple electronic systems, and follow electronic schematics of complex machines/assembly lines.
Develop skills to be able to program/design simple PLC programs, and follow existing PLC programs of complex machines/assembly lines.
Develop skills to be able to program simple ABB robot programs, and follow existing ABB robot programs of complex machines/assembly lines.
Physical requirements may include lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds
Complete guided training program lead by Technical Trainer.
Learn basics of mechatronics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Finish the program at an entry level of “Technician” role at Brose with successful completion of the IHK/PAL Examinations.
Your Profile
Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude, teamwork skills, and communication skills
Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
Upon completion of program, Apprentices must commit to fulltime employment with Brose for two years.
Interest in finishing the program at an entry level of “Technician” role at Brose with successful completion of the IHK/PAL Examinations.
