<div>Responsibilities<br />The Transformer Design Specialist will oversee the creation and enhancement of new products for the electric utility sector, as well as supervise engineering tasks related to product maintenance.<br />• Create new product designs, drawings, and specifications<br />• Evaluate and suggest specifications to ensure products meet requirements<br />• Analyze proposed product changes<br />• Conduct testing to ensure functionality and quality<br />• Manage prototype development and testing<br />• Assist in the approval of engineering drawing changes<br />• Recommend efficient procedures<br />• Write test reports for internal and external use<br />• Collaborate with engineering team to meet project milestones and timelines<br />• Provide technical support to Field Sales<br />Requirements<br />Qualifications:<br />• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent<br />• 5-10 years of engineering experience<br />• Proficiency in 3D modeling software<br />• Strong communication skills<br />Preferred:<br />• Experience in electric utility product lines<br />• Background in a manufacturing environment<br />• Proficient in 3D modeling software like SolidWorks or ProE<br />• Knowledge of manufacturing processes</div>
