This position is ideal for an experienced solutions architect or backend/cloud developer looking to grow in this direction. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in software development (e.g. Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET), with strong coding skills and readiness to contribute hands-on when needed - experience designing and building cloud-based solutions (AWS or similar), including knowledge of core services and best practices - solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture - hands-on experience with system design, DevOps practices, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation - familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), containerization, APIs, and serverless approaches - ability to evaluate architectural decisions in terms of scalability, performance, cost, and security - experience working with external clients or readiness to engage directly with stakeholders, including C-level executives - strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - ability to create and maintain clear architectural documentation (e.g. diagrams, ADRs) - proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a forward-thinking approach to system design - experience in mentoring engineers and sharing knowledge within the team - English and Polish proficiency at C1 level Nice to have: - experience with Big Data or AI/ML solutions - interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, platform engineering, or AI-assisted development About role: - lead architecture efforts across multiple client projects - support presales activities and early-stage technical decision-making - act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders (including CTOs and CEOs) - design scalable system architectures and cloud infrastructure - modernize legacy systems and drive cloud migration initiatives - translate business requirements into technical solutions - maintain clear architectural documentation (diagrams, ADRs, etc.) - contribute to project estimation and planning - build proof-of-concepts and work hands-on when needed - mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices - explore and introduce new technologies (e.g. Generative AI) Offer: - B2B cooperation - fully remote job in Poland - flexible working hours (Polish time zone) - full-time engagement in Scrum teams - paid days off Salary: - PLN 25,000 – 30,000 + VAT (B2B) Perks: - training budget - health insurance - sports allowance - modern work equipment and tools (MacBook Pro, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Miro, etc.)
