Day to Day Supply Teacher – Coventry

About the role:

Justteachers is working with a secondary school in Coventry that is looking for a flexible and confident Day to Day Supply Teacher short term from September. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys the variety of supply work, can adapt quickly to different classes, and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching whenever cover is needed.

You’ll teach across KS3 and KS4, deliver pre-planned lessons, and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the usual class teacher. The school offers a supportive environment where professionalism, adaptability, and strong classroom practice are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons across a range of secondary subjects in line with the work set by the school.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment that supports learning.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies and expectations.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, timetables, and student needs.
• Provide clear feedback to departments or school staff to support continuity for returning teachers.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, and confidence working across different schools and subjects at short notice.
• Two relevant references, ideally from educational settings.
