About the Role

<p><strong>Project Manager (Engineering / Critical Power)</strong><br />Location: Hampshire (commutable)<br />Salary: £30,000 &#8211; £55,000 DOE + benefits</p> <p>We&#8217;re working with a well-established engineering organisation delivering complex energy and infrastructure projects, and we&#8217;re looking to recruit a <strong>Project Manager</strong> to join their growing team.</p> <p>This is a great opportunity for either an <strong>experienced Project Manager or a Junior Project Manager looking to step up</strong>, ideally with a background in <strong>critical power, generators, or UPS systems</strong>.</p> <hr /> <h3>The Role</h3> <ul> <li>Manage projects end-to-end, from design through to delivery and commissioning</li> <li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards</li> <li>Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers</li> <li>Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout</li> <li>Monitor progress, resolve issues, and report on performance</li> <li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards</li> </ul> <hr /> <h3>What We&#8217;re Looking For</h3> <ul> <li>Experience in project management within an engineering environment (junior profiles considered)</li> <li>Background in <strong>critical power, generators, UPS, or related electrical systems</strong></li> <li>Strong organisational and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines</li> <li>Commercial awareness and budget management understanding</li> <li>Ideally some knowledge of CDM regulations and construction contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)</li> </ul> <hr /> <h3>What&#8217;s on Offer</h3> <ul> <li>£30K-£55K salary depending on experience</li> <li>Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)</li> <li>Clear progression opportunities (including support for junior hires)</li> <li>Car allowance</li> <li>Pension, healthcare, and additional benefits</li> <li>Ongoing training and development</li> </ul> <hr /> <p>If you&#8217;re looking to work on <strong>large-scale engineering projects in the energy sector</strong> and want to progress your career in project management, apply now or get in touch for more details.</p> <p>WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing &amp; technical sales jobs.
