Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Plaistow, London Salary: Between £48,000 – £60,000 Per Annum (Including Shift Allowance) – (Depending On Shift Pattern) Shift Options: 3-Shift Pattern, Continental Shifts or Regular Days Join a leading engineering team where your skills are valued and your development is supported. Our Client are hiring Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to work across a large, well-structured site in Plaistow. With over 40 engineers on-site and access to progression and training opportunities, this is an ideal role for engineers with a strong background in heavy industry, FMCG, or food production. 🔧 Role Overview You’ll be working on a wide range of equipment including: Conveyors, Belts, Bearings Labellers, Weighers Sensors, Relays, Drives PLC Fault Finding (not programming) PPM & Reactive Maintenance Shift Options Option 1 – 3-Shift Rotation Mornings: 6:00am – 2:00pm Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am Option 2 – Continental Shifts (Contis) 4 on 4 off – 12 hour shifts, Days & Nights Option 3 – Regular Days 7am – 3pm – Monday – Friday What We’re Looking For NVQ Level 3 OR Similar In Engineering Discipline (Essential) Strong fault-finding & mechanical/electrical skills Background in heavy industry, FMCG or food sectors Ability to work independently or within a team Adaptable to both refinery and packing areas (training provided for packing) What’s On Offer Basic Salary: £47,900 Shift Allowance/O.T.: +24.3% Total Package: £59,000 Company Pension (Competitive) Life Assurance Health Benefits 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Van/Car options (role dependent) Clear training and progression path Strong departmental support 📈 Why This Role?
