About the Role

For Fujirebio Europe, NiniX Technologies, part of ACE, developed a fully automated machine for the precise filling, sealing and packaging of cartridges used in diagnostic testing applications.

By integrating multiple production steps into a single compact installation, the production process was further automated while significantly improving quality, reproducibility and efficiency. The solution combines machine building, industrial automation and precision engineering to support the reliable production of diagnostic consumables used within the Life Sciences & Medtech industry.

The Challenge

Fujirebio was looking for a compact production machine capable of integrating multiple manufacturing processes within a single automated system. Cartridges used in diagnostic testing needed to be filled with high precision, sealed under controlled conditions and automatically packaged into cassettes.

Reliability, reproducibility and process control were essential requirements. However, no standard solution on the market could combine all required functionalities within the available footprint while delivering the required production capacity. A fully custom-engineered machine was therefore needed.

The Solution

NiniX Technologies designed, engineered and built a tailor-made machine that automates the complete production process. The installation combines cartridge filling, sealing and packaging within a single compact system and is operated through an intuitive control interface.

One of the key engineering challenges was the development of a reliable and repeatable sealing process. Through advanced machine building, industrial automation and a carefully engineered system design, a stable and highly reproducible process was achieved that consistently meets Fujirebio’s strict quality standards.

The result is a compact and robust production machine that combines operational efficiency with the precision required for diagnostic manufacturing applications.
