About the Role
<p><strong>The Day Services operate Monday-Friday and the Kitchen Assistant hours will be 9am – 2pm. </strong>2 X Kitchen Assistants – Integrated Day Services</p>
<p>Subject to enhanced DBS check</p>
<p>Role purpose</p>
<p>Based in a Day Service for adults with an assessed care and support care need. This will include people with a learning disability and older people who have specialist and complex needs which may include autism, dementia, distressed behaviour and a variety of complex health conditions.</p>
<p>These roles will support the day to day operation of the integrated day services teams and help to maintain safe staffing levels whilst the service is undergoing a review.</p>
<p>Key Skills Requirements</p>
<p>· Experience of working within a large kitchen setting</p>
<p>· Working in a training environment alongside vocational instructor</p>
<p>· Food Hygiene Certificate</p>
<p>· Good understanding of safety within a kitchen environment</p>
<p>· Caring and supportive skills and values</p>
<p>· Good communication skills</p>

<p>Enhanced DBS required as the role has direct access to adults with care and support needs</p>
<p>Start as soon as possible</p>
<p>Hourly rate – £13 per hour</p>
<p>Number of days per week – 5 days per week – 9am – 2pm (some flexibility can be negotiated)</p>
<p>Contract duration – 3 months (will be reviewed with the possibility of further extension)</p>
