Payroll Specialist

An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Specialist or Senior Payroll Specialist to join a well-established professional services firm in Aberdeen. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes, handling complex payroll scenarios, supporting auto-enrolment, and ensuring compliance with current payroll and taxation legislation.

You will work closely with internal teams and external clients, using strong Excel skills to analyse payroll data, resolve queries, and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, organised approach to their work and professional development.

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
• Handle complex payroll queries and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Manage pension auto-enrolment and re-enrolment processes.
• Use Excel to analyse payroll data and produce reports.
• Resolve payroll issues and respond to client and internal queries.
• Prioritise workloads effectively to meet strict deadlines.
