About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing boutique advisory firm focused on supporting clients across the energy, infrastructure, and sustainable investment sectors. The organisation works with growth-stage companies, investors, and corporate clients to develop strategic growth plans, execute transactions, and deliver investment solutions in rapidly evolving markets.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of advisory and transaction activities within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and clients, contributing to both business development and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation of pitch presentations, teasers, and other marketing materials.
  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation assessments, and financial modelling.
  • Support the production of transaction documentation, including teasers, information memoranda, and related materials.
  • Coordinate communication and information flow among transaction stakeholders.
  • Assist throughout the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, Q&A management, and engagement with clients and external advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
  • Undertake market research and industry analysis and maintain standard presentation materials.
  • Prepare case studies and transaction summaries for completed projects.

Education and Experience

  • Degree educated, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a similar analytical environment is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and accounting principles.
  • Experience building and maintaining financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and merger and acquisition models.
  • Experience preparing presentations, transaction materials, management presentations, pipeline reports, and supporting analytical documentation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
