Commercial Account Handler

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join a dynamic sports & entertainment team based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and high-profile client base across sports, media and entertainment sectors.
The portfolio is varied, ranging from small individual contractors through to large, complex property & casualty (P&C) risks, offering excellent exposure across different classes of business.
Working closely alongside an Account Executive, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients within the sports and entertainment sector
• Handle mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business quotations across a broad range of risks
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive coverage
• Prepare client documentation, including reports, summaries and renewal packs
• Provide exceptional client service, responding promptly to queries and requests
• Work closely with an Account Executive to support client management and growth
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures

About You

• Essential: proven commercial insurance account handling experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g. property, liability, contingency, etc.)
• Comfortable managing a varied portfolio, from SME clients to large, complex P&C programmes
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience or interest in sports and entertainment industries is advantageous
