Job Responsibilities Assemble locomotive engine parts and components according to work instructions and specifications Perform testing and inspection of assembled components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and standard work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and production equipment Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and assembly processes Follow quality, safety, and production standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Work independently and as part of a manufacturing team Meet production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to read and follow technical instructions Basic math skills Strong attendance record and reliability Professional attitude and commitment to workplace safety Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift High School Diploma or GED preferred Preferred Experience Mechanical assembly Manufacturing or production work Machining Automotive repair Industrial maintenance Equipment operation Construction or other hands-on technical trades Why Join Our Team?
