Manufacturing Assembler / Production Technician (Training on 1st Shift, Then Move to 2nd Shift) Location: Winston-Salem, NC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Train on 1st Shift for a Minimum of One Month, Then Transition to 2nd Shift Now Hiring: Manufacturing Assembler / Production Technician Our Client, a leading manufacturer in the rail transportation industry, is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to join their production team in Winston-Salem, NC. Job Responsibilities Assemble locomotive engine parts and components according to work instructions and specifications Perform testing and inspection of assembled components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and standard work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and production equipment Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and assembly processes Follow quality, safety, and production standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Work independently and as part of a manufacturing team Meet production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to read and follow technical instructions Basic math skills Strong attendance record and reliability Professional attitude and commitment to workplace safety Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift High School Diploma or GED preferred Preferred Experience Mechanical assembly Manufacturing or production work Machining Automotive repair Industrial maintenance Equipment operation Construction or other hands-on technical trades Why Join Our Team?
