Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage VAT reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial queries and provide insights.
The Successful Applicant
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills ideally SAP.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience in the life Manufacturing industry or a related sector is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
