We’re supporting a well-established secondary school in Waltham Forest in their search for a permanent Maths Teacher to join their team this September. The school is looking for someone who can bring energy to the classroom, build confidence in learners, and make Maths accessible for all.
The role Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available for the right candidate
Plan and deliver clear, engaging lessons that support all ability levels
Use effective behaviour management to maintain a focused learning environment
Track progress and adapt teaching to ensure strong outcomes for students
Support exam preparation and build student confidence in problem-solving
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive Maths department
What we’re looking for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for raising attainment
Confident classroom presence and solid behaviour management skills
A proactive, positive approach and willingness to contribute to school life
Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
