This is a full‑time, day‑shift position focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment critical to daily operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a hands‑on environment.</p><hr /><h3><strong>Schedule & Pay</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Pay:</strong> $35–$45 per hour (DOE)</li><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on municipal and industrial equipment.</li><li>Perform repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance on sweepers, plows, spreaders, compact equipment, and truck‑mounted systems.</li><li>Install new equipment, attachments, hydraulic lines, and control systems on customer vehicles.</li><li>Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic prints.</li><li>Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in the service management system.</li><li>Communicate repair needs, timelines, and technical findings with service advisors and customers.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards.</li><li>Support field service calls for municipal yards, job sites, and customer locations as needed.</li><li>Test, calibrate, and verify equipment operation after repairs or installations.</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role</li><li>Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills</li><li>Ability to read and follow technical documentation, manuals, and schematics</li><li>Experience working with industrial or production equipment</li><li>Reliable, self‑directed, and safety‑focused work style</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3><ul><li>Electrical or PLC troubleshooting experience</li><li>Welding or fabrication skills</li><li>Preventive maintenance program experience</li><li><span style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">Experience</span> in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h3><p>This role offers competitive hourly pay, a consistent weekday schedule, and the opportunity to work with a company that values skilled craftsmanship and operational reliability.
