We’re working with one of Derbyshire’s finest boutique hotels to help them find an ambitious and talented Sous Chef to join their exceptional kitchen team.
Set in the stunning surroundings of the Peak District, this venue is all about refined dining, warm hospitality, and celebrating fresh, seasonal produce. With a reputation for excellence, this is the perfect spot for a Sous Chef who wants to be part of something truly special. This is also an excellent opportunity to work for a vastly experienced Head Chef.

Up to £40,000 per annum plus £8,000 service charge

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef…
Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Leading and inspiring a team of chefs during service
Helping maintain the restaurant’s high culinary standards
Getting hands-on with stock management, ordering, and food cost control
Ensuring your kitchen is clean, safe, and compliant at all times
Playing a key role in the development of junior chefs
Helping to create seasonal menus that celebrate top-quality local ingredients
About you:
You’ll be an experienced Sous Chef from a fine-dining or high-end restaurant background. You’ll take pride in your craft, thrive under pressure, and be a natural team leader. You’ll also bring plenty of creativity and a calm, organised approach to everything you do.
