📍Cambridgeshire / Hybrid Working📄 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract💰Competitive Salary (£50,000-£60,000) + BenefitsWe are working with a well-established and growing business who are looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant into their finance team.This is a varied role offering exposure across month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business partnering, and process improvement. The position would suit someone who enjoys working within a collaborative environment and is keen to take ownership while supporting wider business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction of monthly financial reporting and analysisSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning activitiesBusiness partnering with operational teams and department managersAssisting with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliationsSupporting audit preparation and statutory reporting requirementsIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controlsSupporting transactional finance activities where requiredAssisting with VAT reporting and other compliance-related dutiesInvolvement in ad-hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experincePrevious experience within a management accounting or finance business partnering roleStrong analytical and Excel skillsComfortable working with finance systems and large data setsStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the businessProactive, organised and commercially minded approachThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking business in a broad and commercially focused finance role.
