We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils within welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across Lambeth - specifically, Brixton, Oval, Kennington.This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who thrive on building positive relationships, supporting children with additional needs to reach their full potential, and becoming a valued part of a school community. Whether you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or looking to take the next step into education, we have a range of flexible opportunities available to suit you.You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed.The Role:Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional DysregulationSupport learning, emotional regulation, and social developmentWork alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support planAdapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the childPromote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Holds at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusionConfident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary settingPatient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and wellbeingHolds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)Available Monday to Friday (part-time roles still require weekday availability)Why Work with Tradewind?Strong partnerships with inclusive primary schools across LambethCompetitive daily pay, paid weeklyFree access to 2,500+ CPD-accredited courses through The National CollegeOngoing guidance and support from a dedicated education consultantIf you're passionate about SEND and ready to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now with your updated CV to be considered!
