<p>Backed by a collaborative team and excellent staff retention, they are now looking to expand their sustainability offering, seeking a Sustainability Consultant to support growth in BREEAM, Whole Life Carbon, and Building Physics.</p>

<h2>Day-to-Day</h2>
<ul>
<li>Conduct BREEAM assessments and provide guidance to project teams on achieving certification.</li>
<li>Perform Whole Life Carbon assessments and provide recommendations for reducing carbon impact.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to embed sustainability into project designs.</li>
<li>Support the development of internal processes and tools to enhance the delivery of sustainability services.</li>
<li>Attend project meetings, both in-person and virtually, to provide sustainability input and updates.</li>
<li>Work from the London office at least 1-2 days per week, with flexibility to work from home or other office locations (Oxford or Manchester) as needed.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage BREEAM assessments for both residential and non-domestic projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and certifications.</li>
<li>Provide expertise in Whole Life Carbon (WLCA) analysis, supporting the delivery of low-carbon and sustainable design solutions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and clients to integrate sustainability principles into project designs.</li>
<li>Support the development of in-house capabilities in WLCA and Building Physics, reducing reliance on outsourced services.</li>
<li>Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, and client proposals.</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and energy efficiency.</li>
<li>Mentor and upskill team members in sustainability practices, particularly in WLCA and BREEAM.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in delivering BREEAM assessments (essential).</li>
<li>Strong expertise in Whole Life Carbon (WLCA) analysis (essential).</li>
<li>Experience with Building Physics and IES software (desirable, but highly advantageous).</li>
<li>A relevant degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of energy efficiency, low-carbon design, and sustainable building practices.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.</li>
<li>A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a passion for driving sustainability in the built environment.</li>
