Construction Engineer (E&I) Closing Date 31 August, 2026 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Ref No 16077 Construction Engineer (E&I) Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Construction Engineer (E&I) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi. Qualification Required The candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university. Responsibilities Supports for offshore oil & gas projects during fabrication, installation, hook-up, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases Ensures all E&I construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, international standards, quality requirements, and project schedules Review E&I construction drawings, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and installation details. Develop and review construction work packs, method statements, installation procedures, and execution plans. Coordinate E&I construction activities during fabrication yard, offshore installation, and commissioning phases. Monitor construction progress and identify schedule risks and mitigation actions. Ensure all E&I activities comply with approved engineering documents and project specifications. Verify cable tray, conduit, cable pulling, glanding, termination, and testing activities. Support energization and electrical system handover activities. Review engineering deliverables for constructability and installation feasibility. Resolve site technical queries and coordinate engineering clarifications. Coordinate Mechanical Completion (MC) and system handover activities. Participate in commissioning walkdowns and punch-list closeout. Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, and client teams. Participate in progress review and construction coordination meetings. Monitor subcontractor productivity and performance. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and construction status reports. Experience Required Minimum 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore project. Proven experience involved in E&I construction activities Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background. Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage. #LI-AS1
