Treasury Finance Manager

This role carries a combination of operational responsibility and strategic project involvement, with excellent visibility across the wider organisation.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt">You will join a small, specialised team and gain exposure across treasury operations, intercompany funding, FX, and treasury systems. This newly created role is based in central London and reports into the Head of Treasury, who in turn reports to the Global CFO.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt">You will initially take on BAU responsibilities while also designing and delivering projects to enhance treasury financial management. This role offers significant learning and development opportunities while contributing to the evolution of the organisation&#8217;s treasury model.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><strong style="font-size: 11pt">Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Serve as the treasury point of contact for recapitalisations, investments, dividends, and other structural transactions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Determine funding paths, cash flows, system workflows, and accounting entries.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Develop tools and templates to standardise the management and documentation of structural transactions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Assess automation opportunities within the Treasury Management System (TMS).</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Evaluate rate usage, margins, and benchmarking for intercompany lending.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Analyse the impact of existing imputed interest approaches on entities.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Contribute to designing a revised interest framework aligned with OECD guidance.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Review unhedged or mismatched currency positions and propose improvements.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Map and analyse unsettled intercompany balances from an FX perspective.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Oversee documentation relating to bank pooling, sweeping, and in‑house bank arrangements.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Modernise legacy documentation and coordinate stakeholder engagement.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Support TMS enhancements to strengthen workflows and data integrity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Manage intercompany settlement cycles, considering tax, cash, and FX impacts.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Act as the primary treasury contact for external auditors.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><strong style="font-size: 11pt">Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Chartered accounting qualification.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Strong post-qualification experience in financial accounting.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Exposure to treasury, cash management, or banking concepts.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Experience preparing or contributing to board papers.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Project management experience.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Workflow or process mapping skills (Visio).</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Strong reporting and digital tool proficiency.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Advanced Excel (pivots, charts, VLOOKUP).</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><strong style="font-size: 11pt">Personal Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Curious, logical thinker with strong problem-solving ability.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Comfortable balancing BAU and project-based work.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Strong written and verbal communicator.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Able to work independently and collaboratively.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Comfortable working with some ambiguity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Highly organised with strong attention to detail.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt">Interested in finance, accounting, or treasury themes.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt">Please note this role does not offer sponsorship. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt"> </span></p> <p>Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
