Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a highly motivated General Manager who has:

• Experience in Lawn Care: Proven track record as a Spray Technician or in a related role, with experience managing operations and teams.
• Strong Sales & Business Development Skills: You know how to drive sales, grow customer relationships, and enhance customer retention.
• Leadership & Management Expertise: You can effectively manage a team, ensuring operational efficiency, service quality, and meeting performance targets.

Job Summary:

As the General Manager at Canopy Lawn Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our lawn care service, growing a team as the business grows.  You’ll manage customer relations, drive sales, and implement operational strategies to increase efficiency and service quality. In addition, you will foster a positive work culture, coaching and developing your team to achieve their goals.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career with the potential to take on business equity as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of lawn care professionals to ensure service excellence.
• Drive sales by developing and implementing effective strategies to expand the customer base.
• Ensure that all operational aspects (quality control, scheduling, customer satisfaction) run smoothly.
• Build strong relationships with clients, offering personalized service and addressing concerns promptly.
• Maintain high standards for service delivery, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in lawn care, including spray tech and management experience.
• Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to grow a customer base and increase revenue.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and operations.
• Self-motivated and driven with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
