About the Role
<p>We are engaged in a search with a Northern VA based, award winning, digital media and design firm for a Finance and Business Manager. <br />
This key position will report to the company President and oversee accounting, finance, operations and HR. Self starters with a go getter mentality required!</p>
<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p>
<p>The Business Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the financial, operational, and</p>
<p>administrative health of the organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to the</p>
<p>President while also maintaining hands-on responsibility for accounting, project contracting</p>
<p>and budgeting, human resources, and internal systems. Many functions that are</p>
<p>typically distributed across multiple departments in larger organizations are intentionally</p>
<p>centralized in this role. As such, the ideal candidate is a highly capable, self-directed</p>
<p>professional with a proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing demands, and wear many hats simultaneously in a fast-paced, project-driven creative environment.</p>

<p>QUALIFICATIONS</p>
<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA</p>
<p>or MBA a plus).</p>
<p>• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, operations, or business</p>
<p>management.</p>
<p>• Advanced working knowledge of QuickBooks and strong aptitude for accounting</p>
<p>systems and financial reporting.</p>
<p>• Experience with project-based accounting, client invoicing, and revenue tracking</p>
<p>strongly preferred.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in HR administration, benefits, and compliance.</p>
<p>• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple functional areas simultaneously, set priorities</p>
<p>independently, and shift between strategic planning and detailed execution.</p>
<p>• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a role that requires both</p>
<p>ownership and adaptability.</p>
<p>• AI tool implementation and experience a plus</p>
