<strong style="font-weight:700;">Job Title: Foreman - Cable Technician</strong><br /><strong>Job Description</strong><p>We are seeking dedicated Cable Technicians to join our team for an exciting project at data centers. Your primary responsibilities will include spotting for other techs on eco lifts, running and pulling cables between colos, dressing and organizing cables along cable trays, managing cable systems, and labeling cables. You will work at ground level or from an eco lift, 10-12 feet in the air. No prior cabling experience is necessary, but it would be advantageous. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working from heights and eager to learn.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Spotting for other technicians on eco lifts.</li><li>Running and pulling cables between colos.</li><li>Dressing and organizing cables along cable trays.</li><li>Managing cable systems and labeling cables.</li><li>Working at ground level or from an eco lift.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>6+ months of hands-on work experience within cabling, construction, installation, or industrial assembly.</li><li>Experience on construction sites (6 months to 1 year).</li><li>Mechanical aptitude (6 months to 1 year).</li><li>Ability to follow blueprints for assembling trays, racks, and laying out wires.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Must be able to work in an outdoor or indoor construction work environment.</li><li>Self-motivated and positive approach.</li><li>Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations.</li><li>Ability to interpret blueprints and other project documents.</li><li>Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds.</li><li>Ability to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, and recognize audible signals.</li><li>Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.</li><li>Regular attendance is mandatory.</li></ul><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>Our organization offers health, life, and dental benefits along with a 401K plan. You will work five 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday (7am-5:30pm), though hours may change based on project demands. The environment includes large, active construction areas with moving equipment and potential hazards. Workers are required to wear steel-toed boots, a clean pair of jeans, and a work-appropriate shirt. The organization provides a high-visibility vest, hearing protection, and work gloves.<p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
