Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a specialist education setting seeking a confident and committed Full-Time HLTA to support students with complex additional needs.About the Role:As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, tailored support to students with a range of needs, while also taking the lead in delivering lessons and interventions when required.Key Responsibilities:Lead small group sessions and deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacherSupport students with complex needs including ASD, PMLD, and medical requirementsProvide personal care and physical support where necessaryAssist in specialist settings such as sensory rooms and hydrotherapy environmentsContribute to planning, assessment, and tracking of student progressWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staffIdeal Candidate:HLTA qualification or significant experience at HLTA levelStrong background supporting children or young people with SEN, particularly complex needsConfident leading learning activities and managing small groupsComfortable supporting personal care needsPatient, adaptable, and proactive approachWhat's on Offer:A supportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for ongoing professional developmentThe chance to take on a leading role in supporting students with additional needsThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA looking to make a real impact in a specialist setting.Apply now or get in touch to find out more.
