About the Role

Fractional Oracle Program Manager:

There is a requirement for services provision. This may change or develop further over the course of the procurement, implementation, and deployment phases. Because of these changes, different resources may be required to support the programme at different points.

The services should be based on experience and expertise of successful ERP finance and procurement deployments, preferably multi-organisational and with experience in complex public sector environments.

The requirement is for specialist programmatic management and support across the following domains:

– Acting as an independent specialist with the appropriate credentials to ‘hold the ERP system integrator to account’ to ensure the ERP solution is fully optimised for the benefit of the collaborative partners.

– Developing detailed planning to support change management requirements and data migrations.

– Ensuring all partner organisations in the collaborative have a consistent understanding of what is required to achieve successful deployment. This includes identifying gaps in each organisation, the steps/changes required to bridge these, and any implications prior to deployment stages.

– Planning appropriate steps in the implementation timeline to optimise the benefits of an ERP system for finance services.

– Identifying the steps needed to plan how multiple digital systems currently used across the partner organisations will interface and integrate with the ERP system.

– Additional steps may need to be added as the programme progresses; requirements may evolve. The above is distinct from overall project management support and requires a more niche, specialist skill set.

As the implementation and deployment period progresses, there may be a requirement for additional expert capacity to provide hands-on support, as existing teams are fully committed to BAU activity.
