Factory Operative / Driver<strong>Location: </strong>Coventry - CV7<br><strong>Pay:</strong> £13.00 per hour<br><strong>Hours</strong>: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm<br><br>📄 Temp to Perm Opportunity<br><br>We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Coventry for a <strong>Factory Operative with driving duties</strong> to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, varied role combining factory work with local deliveries.<br><br>The Role:This position involves both warehouse/factory duties and driving responsibilities, including:<br><br><ul><li>Delivering steel profiles to customers using a 3.5t pick-up / flatbed truck<br><br></li><ul><li>Deburring steel profiles using a handheld grinder<br><br></li><li>Moving steel profiles around site<br><br></li><li>Operating a counterbalance forklift truck<br><br></li><li>Using an overhead crane (training can be provided if required)<br><br></li><li>General factory duties as needed<br><br></li></ul></ul>Essential Requirements:<ul><li>Full UK driving licence (No more than 6 penalty points)<br><br></li><ul><li>Confident driving a 3.5T flatbed vehicle (standard car licence)<br><br></li><li>Experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck (in-house licence accepted)<br><br></li><li>Comfortable with manual labour and heavy lifting<br><br></li><li>Reliable, hands-on and hardworking attitude<br><br></li></ul></ul>What’s on Offer:<ul><li>£13.00 per hour<br><br></li><ul><li>Early finish every Friday<br><br></li><li>Full-time, stable hours<br><br></li><li>Temp-to-perm opportunity<br><br></li><li>Supportive working environment<br><br></li></ul></ul>If you’re practical, dependable and looking for a long-term opportunity with variety in your day, we’d love to hear from you.<br><br><strong>Apply today with your CV or call Pertemps on 02476 631199.</strong>
