About the Role
CNC Programmer
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and optimizing CNC programs to deliver precision-engineered parts to the highest standard. You will work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming CNC machines using [software, e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mastercam, etc.
Setting and proving out CNC machines to produce components to tight tolerances
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD/CAM data
Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for different materials
Troubleshooting and resolving machining/programming issues
Ensuring adherence to quality standards and health & safety procedures
About You:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operations
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
