This role is crucial for maintaining transparency, accuracy, and punctuality for someone well-versed in financial reporting mandates.</p>
<p>This position offers more than just reporting duties—you will serve as the primary expert for all external financial declarations, encompassing the preparation and submission of 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks. </p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Take full charge of <strong>SEC filings</strong> such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and other obligatory disclosures, ensuring adherence to <strong>SEC, FASB, and US GAAP</strong> criteria.</li>
<li>Manage all facets of the <strong>external reporting schedule</strong>, including timelines, reviews, internal approvals, and audit readiness.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with <strong>internal accounting, legal, investor relations, and executive teams</strong> to uphold accuracy and coherence in all public disclosures.</li>
<li>Compose and sustain <strong>financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A segments</strong> of public declarations.</li>
<li>Interface with external auditors and legal advisors to assist in audit processes and public filings.</li>
<li>Ensure <strong>SOX compliance</strong> as it pertains to financial reporting procedures and internal controls.</li>
<li>Continuously monitor and adopt <strong>new accounting standards and SEC regulations</strong>, drafting technical memos as required.</li>
<li>Aid in <strong>earnings release</strong> preparation and other investor communications.</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Accounting, Finance, or relevant field</strong>; CPA certification highly desired.</li>
<li><strong>2+ years</strong> of financial reporting experience, ideally within a <strong>public corporation</strong> or Big 4 setting.</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of <strong>SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, and SOX compliance</strong>.</li>
<li>Prior exposure to <strong>EDGAR filings</strong>, <strong>Workiva</strong>, or other financial reporting platforms is advantageous.</li>
<li>Exceptional <strong>attention to detail</strong>, organizational capabilities, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact confidently with various departments and senior management.</li>
<li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong> and experience with <strong>ERP systems</strong> and <strong>financial consolidation tools</strong>.</li>
