About the Role
Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers to join schools in the B29 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified teachers to begin their teaching career in a supportive environment, gain valuable classroom experience, and develop their professional practice.
As an ECT, you will deliver high-quality teaching across your subject or key stage, engage students in learning, and contribute positively to the school community. You will also receive mentoring and structured professional development in line with statutory ECT requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
Manage and assess student learning, providing feedback to support progress.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school initiatives.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Complete statutory ECT assessments and participate in induction activities.
Engage in ongoing professional development to build teaching skills.
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion of NQT induction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student progress.
Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
Flexible, resilient, and eager to learn and grow professionally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
