About the Role
Exciting Per Diem NNP opportunity to join Pediatrix Medical Group at United Regional Healthcare System in Wichita Falls!
United Regional Hospital is a prominent healthcare institution serving Wichita Falls, TX, and the surrounding communities. It's recognized for its commitment to healthcare excellence and serves as a vital healthcare resource for the Wichita Falls community and surrounding areas. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical procedures, maternity and pediatric care, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, and more.
As a Level II Special Care Nursery designated facility, United Regional is able to provide care for infants with a 30-week or longer gestational age and a birth weight of greater than 1,250 grams who have physiologic immaturity, or who have problems that are expected to resolve rapidly and are not anticipated to require sub-specialty services on an urgent basis. In the Special Care Nursery, we collaborate with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services and neonatal nutritionists to care for infants so that they can remain in our community without separation from their moms and dads while they receive the specialized care they need.
