International Ops – Tactical International Planner works within the International Trip Planning (ITP) Team.<br>
This role focuses on completing all international trips operating within 24 hours of departure. The Tactical<br>
International Planner will file legal flight plans, coordinate trip details with foreign handling agencies,<br>
arrange US customs clearances, among other duties. They will utilize all available resources to fulfil his or<br>
her duties and be able to communicate effectively with various groups within Flexjet, as well as external<br>
groups, vendors, and agencies.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 11px">DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
• United States based role supporting primarily Flexjet US.<br>
• Oversee execution of all same-day and next-day international flights<br>
• File required customs paperwork based on applicable flight rules; update/cancel clearances as<br>
necessary<br>
• Prepare and file safe, legal flight plans and amend as required; cancel unused flight plans to<br>
maintain efficiency and accuracy<br>
• Build and distribute international paperwork packets to flight crews<br>
• Initiate handling requests for all international locations and manage subsequent updates as needed<br>
• Perform flight following duties: </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11px">• Keep U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and international handlers informed of arrival times<br>
• Update previously initiated items from the Strategic Team, including:<br>
• Customs clearances, handling requests, permits, and slot reservations<br>
• Respond swiftly to time-sensitive operational issues, delivering prompt and effective solutions<br>
• Maintain record of completed work and update internal resources / documents as appropriate<br>
• Report non-compliance observations for any potential safety, security, or quality issues<br>
• Make rapid decisions concerning safety, regulations, and capability of operations</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11px">Education & Experience<br>
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related<br>
experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education<br>
and experience is preferred<br>
• Flight training and/or dispatch license highly preferred</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 11px">Required Skills & Qualifications<br>
• Familiarity with core job competencies including, but not limited to, international operations,<br>
aviation regulations, customs/immigration requirements and regulations, airport access<br>
coordination, handling services, weather trends, and ATC flow is preferred.<br>
• Thorough understanding of aircraft capabilities and factors that impact flight operations including,<br>
but not limited to, weather, weight and balance, aircraft operating weights, and runway<br>
characteristics<br>
• Knowledge of FARs regarding Part 91, 135, or 121 airline operations<br>
• Firm knowledge and able to explain aviation-related charts, diagrams, and publications related to<br>
flight operations<br>
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.<br>
• Strong communication (written and oral) skills with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple<br>
tasks, meet established targets, and liaise effectively with clients, authorities, and internal teams.<br>
• Strong organizational skills and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex flight<br>
itineraries and documentation.<br>
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, particularly in high pressure<br>
situations.<br>
• Proficient in aviation-specific planning software and tools as well as Microsoft Office applications.<br>
• Proficiency in English is required.<br>
• Flight training experience preferred, but not required</span></p>

• Front half / back half schedule<br>
• Early morning to evening shifts.<br>
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11px">Physical Demands<br>
This job requires regular communication and the ability to assess conditions visually and aurally. Physical<br>
demands include prolonged sitting, typing, and use of office equipment, as well as occasional walking,<br>
carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.</span></p>
